WHY I BELIEVE IN PRESS TRIPS

I am a firm believer in press trips for brands and have delivered many in my 20 years of PR. They are hands down the best bang for your buck and a great measurable return on investment.

You don't have to commit to a year-long agency retainer contract at thousands of pounds per month, you can simply test the water, dip your toe and try just one press trip.

- For anywhere within a 5 hour journey of central London your trip should be no longer than 3 days and take place over a weekend

- All expenses are naturally covered by the client with journalists typically not required to pay for expenses during the trip or travel.

- Each attending journalist will confirm a feature in their publication prior to the trip. 6 journalists = 6 features - like I said 'Bang for your Buck!'

- I attend the trip with the press, 'hand holding’ and managing them for the duration of the time they are with you.

- Upon our return I will liaise with the journalist regarding any questions, images, coverage dates etc. (This may be better discussed on the phone or in person)

- Press trips take a minimum of 4 weeks to plan and arrange

This is something I feel all hotels, resorts and properties should be considering for their 2024 activity and for less than you might think. Projects start from £2.5K with an average ROI min of £30k equivalent advertising spend.
